Wire South America is the South American version of the world’s largest cable and wire fair, Wire Düsseldorf. The first edition took place in 2013 and the general goal is to present technological solutions and new business opportunities in the cable and wire industry.
It is a biennial fair, which means it happens every two years. In October 2019, the fourth edition of the event will be held at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
This year, the event takes place alongside the tenth edition of Tubotech, an international fair of tubes, valves, pumps, connections and components. This means it is an event with products and visitors who share the same interests as the visitors and exhibitors of the Wire South America fair.
Polyexcel at Wire South America
In 2017, Polyexcel participated in Wire South America for the first time. The company, focused on the production of compounds based on ethylenic polymers, took the opportunity to launch a line of resins for wires and flame retardants.
This event houses a technical audience, where companies have the opportunity to present new products and solutions and establish contracts with other entrepreneurs and professionals interested in what is being presented.
Therefore, it brings together the most modern technology, products and services in the manufacture and processing of wires and cables. In addition to the South American exhibitors, professionals from other parts of the world also accompany the event and look for new opportunities for their companies.
“It turned out being interesting for Polyexcel, mainly by the contacts we had with people, customers from outside, from Latin America and Europe,” says José Roberto Decarli, a market development and technical assistance engineer for the company, on the company’s participation in the 2017 event.
Expectativas para 2019
After the positive balance of 2017, Polyexcel will attend the event one more time. The company will be on a stand expecting to receive current and future customers.
As Roberto Decarli pointed out, the fair is an environment where many projects are born and can be developed and presented in the following edition. An opportunity for networking and brainstorming with industry professionals, in addition to the contracts that come out after the event.
In the 2017 edition, Polyexcel, a specialist in the polymer market, will present a new product, the electric tread-resistant cable. The material is being developed in partnership with a multinational company.
The result is an electric tread-resistant cable with superior performance to the products already in the market, Decarli explains. The expectation is that, just as in the previous event, the company can make new connections with the major cable producers in the sector.
Opportunity to close contracts
Wire South America is a B2B (business to business) event, that is, focused on the relationship between companies. Polyexcel, for example, which operates in the polymer market and produces compounds that are used in the manufacture of wires and cables, finds these manufacturers and has the opportunity to close new contracts.
It is also a moment to meet partners and develop new projects and products together. As professionals from different countries will be present, the exchange of experiences and information should also be considered as a positive point. In addition, the average of visitors, along with Tubotech, is 13.000.
This event brings together the most modern and innovative in the sector. Don’t miss it! Stay tuned for Wire South America’s 2019 information:
