Learn more about Polytox 93 LF
Polytox 93 LF is an olefinic-based thermoplastic compound with flame retardant characteristics. This feature makes it a great option in fighting fire accidents. This is because it increases the time it takes the material to start the combustion process.
This compound is free of halogenated substances and therefore does not cause much environmental impact or damage to human health. Thus, when flames reach a halogen-free cable, the result is a low emission of smoke and toxic gases.
In addition, Polytox 93 LF has low density, which means that it is attacked by few oxidizing agents and is poorly soluble to polar solvents cpp esters, alcohols and ketones. It still has stability, good impact resistance and remarkable electrical properties.
Supplied in gray and black, it has stability in UV light. This way, the wires and cables are protected from photodegradation even at high temperatures, reaching a much longer service life.
Low friction
Low friction is the movement and resistance between its surfaces. The lower the coefficient of friction, the easier the mobility of the two surfaces becomes. This friction also causes wear on the material, which reduces service life and performance and increases maintenance costs.
An example of this is rough surfaces with sliding parts of higher hardness, such as steel, which has a greater propensity to cause wear on lighter materials. When there is a combination of high shut-off speeds and pressure forces, sliding parts are exposed to higher voltage levels.
Therefore, due to its low coefficient of friction, the Polytox 93 LF is a great option for covering wires and telecommunication cables. With it, the cables gain more resistance, presenting a performance of higher quality and efficiency.
Meet Polyexcel
Founded in 2011, Polyexcel’s main objective was to manufacture XLPE thermoplastic compound for the wire and power cord and telecommunications sector. After years of success, it has a high-tech industrial park, with unique equipment throughout the country.
With more than 90% of products approved by power wire and cable manufacturers, the company is a leader in the production of polymeric compounds. But it doesn’t stop there, since in the last three years, she has identified her performance in the Latin American market, expanding her sales to nine countries.
Polyexcel is also always looking for innovative research that improves the quality of flame retardant material, aiming at an increasingly better performance. For this, it values the safety of its products and employees, meeting all current laws.
One of the company’s biggest differentials in relation to competitors in the same sector is that it offers specialized service in the after-sales process. After purchase, the customer receives a complete training on the purchased compound, its characteristics and applications.
